Project Cases

Electric cylinder selection process:

Select the type of electric cylinder according to the maximum load capacity of the electric cylinder and the mounting dimensions.

For example, if you need an electric cylinder with a thrust of 200kg and set a safety factor of 0.8, then you need to choose an electric cylinder with a thrust of 250kg. Checking the parameter, we know that the maximum loading capacity of 65 cylinder produced by Shanghai Inductotherm is 300kg, so we can choose 65 series electric cylinder.

Determine the speed of operation。

This is mainly to choose the electric cylinder lead, generally 5mm, 10mm, 20mm lead is more commonly used. Other lead specifications, please consult customer service.

Determination of load weight。

This is mainly the choice of motor power selection, if the load speed is relatively low you can choose a smaller servo and by increasing the speed reducer, if the speed is higher the load is also larger then you can only choose a large servo motor.

Selection of mounting form。

Conventional electric cylinder mounting forms are direct-connected and foldback type, in the direct-connected and foldback type electric cylinder is divided into front flange mounting, foot mounting, tail hinge mounting and other ways. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the rod end of the electric cylinder can not be subjected to large rotational force (the rated maximum thrust given by the manufacturer is straight up and down, as if the guide rail can withstand large loads but can not withstand the rotational tightening force of the same reasoning), so if you have a special application form you need to choose our front-guided mounting type electric cylinder.
